Its main function is to compress and circulate the refrigerant, which is typically a gas made of fluorine, to produce chilly air. It works in the circulatory system similarly to the heart, constantly circulating the refrigerant to remove heat from the car's interior and reduce the air temperature.
Usually powered by an electric motor, the vehicle air conditioning compressor reciprocates its motion via a connecting rod mechanism, converting the motor's rotational motion. It is made up of numerous essential parts, such as valves, a crankshaft, a cylinder, a piston, and a connecting rod. The crankshaft reciprocates the piston's action by converting the rotational motion produced by the electric motor during operation.
